GetYourGP weight loss consultation: weekday and out-of-hours GP fees

GetYourGP is an Irish online GP service that offers weight-management video consultations with IMC-registered GPs, whose registration numbers it publishes. It does not dispense medicine; if appropriate, prescriptions go by Healthmail to the Irish pharmacy you nominate.

GLP-1.ie is independent. No provider pays us today, for a listing, a ranking or a referral. If that changes, this note will say so, and payment will never change the order or remove a safety warning.

How GetYourGP's weight consultation works

You choose an appointment and see the price before you confirm. A questionnaire asks for height, weight, waist, medical history and current medicines. In the video consultation, an IMC-registered GP covers your weight history and what you have tried, and tells you if blood tests or blood pressure checks are needed. If the GP decides a prescription is clinically appropriate, it goes by Healthmail to your nominated pharmacy. Follow-up consultations review how the plan is working.

What it costs

Consultations cost €35 on weekdays between 8am and 5pm and €50 at other times, according to the pricing page. The weight page itself says from €50, so check which fee applies to your slot. The pharmacy charges separately for any medicine.
