Editorial Policy
How we research, compare, and update Irish GLP-1 information.
Editorial standard
GLP-1.ie is written for Irish patients comparing regulated private treatment pathways. Content should be practical, cautious, and clear about what must be confirmed with a qualified prescriber.
Sources
Our source hierarchy is: Irish regulators and public health bodies for safety and legal context; official medicine information for authorised product facts; registered provider and pharmacy pages for their own fees, processes and service claims; and independent public sources only where they add verifiable context. A provider page is evidence of what that provider publishes, not independent proof that stock, suitability, prescribing, dispensing or delivery is available to a particular person.
- HPRA: Irish medicine regulation and safety notices.
- European Medicines Agency: authorised product information.
- HSE: Irish public care pathways and reimbursement schemes.
- NCPE: pharmacoeconomic assessments; an assessment is not a reimbursement decision.
- Revenue: qualifying health-expense relief and claims.
Provider profiles link their own dated sources. Follow the source attached to the particular claim: this directory does not imply that an organisation endorses GLP-1.ie.
Unknowns and checked dates
When a price component, pharmacy route, delivery term or repeat fee is not publicly confirmed, we label it unknown rather than assuming it is included or costs €0. A checked date records when the cited public evidence was reviewed. It is not a live availability or booking guarantee.
Updates
Commercial pages are reviewed when providers change pricing, medication availability, consultation requirements, or delivery terms. Blog posts are updated when a material safety, regulatory, or provider change affects the answer.
Corrections
Anyone can submit a factual correction through the contact page. Corrections are assessed against the same source hierarchy and do not require payment, partnership or approval of GLP-1.ie's conclusions. Material corrections are applied to the affected page and its checked date.
Medical review
The site is not currently a medically reviewed clinical resource. We aim to keep medical statements conservative and to direct readers back to regulated prescribers for personal advice. Provider or clinician corrections are welcome through the contact page.
Affiliate independence
There is no active affiliate or paid provider relationship. Any future paid placement will be clearly labelled. Payment does not determine editorial order or give a partner approval rights over conclusions, safety warnings or provider comparisons.
