How GP Appointment's weight consultation works

You complete a secure health form and choose a GP weight consultation. A GP reviews your details and suitability and may recommend a video consultation for further discussion. If the doctor decides treatment is suitable, the prescription is sent to the Irish pharmacy you choose. Follow-up consultations are available seven days a week.

The home page lists €70 for an initial weight consultation and €35 for a follow-up. The weight page lists a GP weight consultation from €35 and a self-injectable treatment request from €50. Confirm which fee applies before paying. Pharmacy charges are not included.
