Wegovy is a private prescription medication for most weight-loss patients in Ireland. The medication itself is usually the biggest cost, but consultation fees, follow-up reviews, and delivery can change the total monthly bill.
Treat every price on comparison sites, including this one, as a starting point. Provider stock, dose, plan structure, and pharmacy pricing can change quickly, so the checkout or clinic quote is the source of truth.
Check the first payment and the expected cost over the full period you are comparing. Include the medicine or pharmacy charge, initial and repeat clinical reviews, delivery or collection, support-plan fees and any dose-stage price changes. If a figure is not published, keep it marked unknown rather than guessing.

First four weeks = the provider's consultation or programme fee + a named pharmacy's four-week price for the starting dose + its delivery charge. These are sums of published figures, not quotes. The default order is our provider list: the editorial order, then the published sorting rule for consultation services. Sorting by known total puts partial totals last because their unknown parts could make them higher or lower. HealthHero and BeyondBMI do not name either medicine on their public page, so they are not totalled. Of the consultation services listed without medicine detail, only Everwell has prices from the pharmacy it uses in our dated list; the others are not totalled. A consultation does not guarantee a prescription, and a price listing does not confirm stock.
Wegovy usually starts at 0.25mg a week, and the prescriber increases it in steps towards a usual maintenance dose of 2.4mg. The first months are about tolerability as much as weight loss. When comparing plans, check whether the provider charges the same amount across all doses or increases the price as the dose rises.
If the cheapest provider has weaker follow-up support, it may not be the best value for everyone. GLP-1 treatment involves dose changes, side-effect management, and long-term maintenance planning, so clinical support matters as well as price.

Like-for-like four-week prices (a Republic of Ireland pharmacy that states the supply and its delivery charge) run €235 to €302.95 including delivery across 2 pharmacies for the usual 0.25–2.4 mg strengths. Lower entries in the list are not like for like: Everwell lists €125 for 0.25 mg, 0.5 mg and 1 mg, medicine only from the Northern Ireland pharmacy Everwell uses, which needs the €149 monthly programme fee (reduced rate; listed as €189) and €8.49 delivery: €282.49 for the first four weeks; Pure Pharmacy lists €200.74 for 0.25 mg, 0.5 mg and 1 mg, but its page does not state the pack size or the delivery charge. Across every entry, 5 sellers list €125 to €299, including Northern Ireland pharmacy prices; the restricted 7.2 mg quote is listed separately, and Wegovy tablets were €105 to €229, including Northern Ireland pharmacy prices. The HSE guidance checked on 15 October 2026 says Wegovy is not covered by the medical card, Drugs Payment Scheme or Long-Term Illness Scheme. The €80 DPS threshold does not cap an unapproved private Wegovy prescription.
