How the weight consultation works

You book an online video consultation and pay €99. The consultant endocrinologist reviews your weight, metabolic and hormone history, lifestyle, medical history and any previous blood tests, and looks for contributing causes such as insulin resistance, PCOS or thyroid problems. You get a personalised plan. If tests are needed, they are arranged through your GP or a local diagnostic centre. If the consultant decides medicine is suitable, the prescription goes electronically to the pharmacy you choose. Follow-ups for the same condition cost €60.

Online consultations suit adults who are relatively stable, can use video, can get local blood tests and have a GP who can act as a referral partner.
